March 2023 Update

Already got your tickets to Denim & Diamonds at the Derby?

Yay! We cannot wait to celebrate with you at Baker Lofts on Thursday, April 27th! It is going to be a special night, and all of the funds raised go to ensuring that everyone has access to the benefits of equine assisted services. Thank you for partnering in this important, life-giving work!

Not able to attend in person, but want to partner in the mission?

There are many ways to get in on the fun and partner in the mission, even if you are unable to attend the event in person. Here is a sneak peek at the ways to get involved in the fun virtually.

Jockeys

Eight “Jockeys” will partner with a Renew horse to help raise funds in the first ever Denim & Diamonds at the Derby jockey race! Donate to Renew in support of your favorite jockey as they race to the finish line. Jockeys and horses will be revealed on the website very soon.

General Donation

All of the funds raise will go directly towards ensuring that everyone in West Michigan has access to the benefits of equine assisted services. Tax deductible donations can be made securely through our event website.

Silent Auction Packages

With the help of our generous business community, we have been busy putting together some amazing silent auction packages! Each ticket you purchase will give you one chance to win a package – the more tickets you buy, the greater your chance of winning. Winners will be chosen at random during the event, but there is NO NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. Winners will be notified via email after the event to schedule pick up.

Volunteer Orientation

If you are curious what equine assisted services are all about, want to help others, and have an extra hour or two available each week, we would love to invite you to one of our Volunteer Orientations. Orientations usually take place on the second Saturday of each month from 11:00a-1:00p. We would love to meet you and start a conversation to see what role might be a good fit for your interests and schedule. No prior horse experience is required – we will teach you everything you need to know. Please RSVP to Jen at volunteer@renewtrc.org if you are able to attend. We’ll meet in the farmhouse to start, before heading outside for a tour. We hope to see soon!
