July 2025 Update

July was another fantastic month at Renew! Therapeutic riding participants were back in the saddle for a shortened summer session of lessons. As we move into August, there will be more special programming options to finish out the summer. Speech campers will work hard on their speech goals, and there will also be Drill Team, Interactive Vaulting, Silver Saddles, Reading Wranglers, Pony Pals, and so much more.

From our youngest, preschool aged participants, to our more seasoned Silver Saddles participants, there are so many opportunities to live more abundantly physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially.

Interactive Vaulting Returns in August

There are still a few openings in our August camps. Interactive Vaulting is a unique and fun program that builds teamwork, increases communication and problem solving skills, provides a way to try something new and build confidence, spend time with friends and horses, and so much more.

If you would like to learn more or register a camper, please reach out to Kennedy at programs@renewtrc.org today.

Scholarship Fund Match Complete

We are thrilled to announce that the Paul Kuiper Scholarship Fund match has been met! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this fund.

This memorial scholarship fund was set up to honor beloved Renew Board member, volunteer, and friend, Paul Kuiper. Paul passed away on January 31, 2025, leaving a legacy of deep compassion for those in the Holland area living with disabilities. Paul was especially driven to help establish the Standing Watch program at Renew.

To honor his memory and his legacy, the Paul Kuiper Memorial Scholarship Fund has been created with the purpose of funding this program as the first priority, and funding scholarships for Renew’s other services as a second priority.

And a special thank you to Raven Strategic Group for matching the first $2,500 to this fund! If you would like to be a part of helping veterans and first responders by supporting the Standing Watch program, you can partner in the mission through a donation made at the link below.
