In Loving Memory of Angeline DeWitt
Tom, Mary, and Kellie Purmort, who have been part of the greater Renew family for many years, recently said goodbye to someone very dear to them. Mary’s mother, Angeline DeWitt, passed away this fall. While our sympathy goes out to the family, we are also incredibly thankful for the beautiful legacy Angeline leaves behind. Below is a brief tribute to an extraordinary and servant-minded life.
Thank, Mary, for sharing about your mom with the Renew family. And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to Renew in honor of Angeline.
This is a picture of my mom’s 96th birthday. She passed away 4 weeks before her 99th birthday. Even though she didn’t work as a registered nurse outside the home, she kept up her license. She was a great believer in helping others. While her family and faith were her priority, she gave to so many! She volunteered for years with the Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, and 28 years with Hospice of Holland. Even as her health was failing, she still wanted to help the caregivers in Assisted Living. She had a zest for life! She loved to cook, entertain, play golf, go to the theater, go to symphonic & band concerts, and traveled extensively worldwide. And, of course, she loved to come watch Kellie ride when she was able!

Giving Tuesday Update
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously on Giving Tuesday to support our equine ministry partners. The proceeds from this day of giving will go towards filling up the new hay barn with quality hay to ensure that our horses are healthy and ready to serve our community.
And thank you to Nelson Steel for the amazing gift of a $2,000 match!
