July 2022 Update
Programming Updates
As we close out the month of July, Session Four of therapeutic riding lessons is also coming to an end. What a fantastic session of growth, trying new things, and having a blast!
We are super excited to offer something completely new to the Renew family for the month of August. The entire month of August is set aside to allow for special program offerings. With the addition of these new program offerings comes the opportunity for deeper involvement from students, the opportunity to invite new students to the farm, and the chance for many more lives to be impacted by equine assisted services. Some of the programs being offered are Speech Camp, Hoofbeats of Hope grief camp, Friends and Family lessons, private lessons, Hug A Horse experiences, Pony Pals, yoga, Silver Saddles, and much more. Renew Celebration Horse Show
The first ever Renew Celebration Horse Show is Saturday, July 30, at the Holland Western Horse Park. Whether you’ll be bringing your horse to show and tackle the extreme trail course, or you’ll be coming out as a spectator, we would love to see you there to cheer on the riders. Registration for classes and the trail will begin at 7:45 am, and showing will begin at 8:30 am.
The event is free for spectators. Bring a lawn chair if you’d like. Concessions will be available, as well as the opportunity to purchase Renew Celebration Horse Show t-shirts.
Save the Date for Upcoming Events
Make sure to save the date for the upcoming Renew Roundup and Fall Festival. These two events are tons of fun for the whole community. The Renew Roundup is a western-themed dinner fundraiser, complete with amazing food, square dancing, and a chance to enjoy the beautiful farm. Returning for this year’s event is the infamous Mini Pie Bingo game, as well as a couple surprises that are sure to be loads of fun. The event will be held at Renew on Friday, September 16, from 5:30-8:00pm. Tickets will go on sale in early August.
On Saturday, September 17, will be an entire afternoon of fun on the farm. The Blessing of the Horses will start at 1:00pm and everyone in the community is invited to join us in praying over our equine ministry partners. We’ll gather in the front of the indoor arena and then head out to the paddock area . The Fall Festival will be from 2:00-4:00pm and once again the whole community is invited to the farm for an afternoon of free games and activities. There will be face painting, wagon rides, snacks, miniature horses, and so much more. This will also be a great opportunity to purchase Renew apparel and merchandise (credit cards and cash accepted).
More information about these events will be available very soon. Make sure to check the event page for complete details.
