We are eagerly preparing and planning our re-opening phases at Renew! As we begin welcoming you all to the new property, you will see a new face around the barn. We recently welcomed Rachel Greydanus as a Recreational Therapy intern. She will be working closely with Shaina this summer, observing lessons and helping with programming.

Rachel grew up in Fennville, Michigan before moving to Grand Rapids to attend Calvin University where she is finishing up her education with degrees in Recreational Therapy and Psychology.

“I am really excited to meet all the riders and their families, and get to see their smiles as they spend time with the horses,” Rachel says. “I am hoping to learn a lot more about therapeutic riding this summer, and I am excited to observe the way the instructors work with the riders during lessons.”

Rachel has two horses, Quest and Oreo. Quest is a 24 year old Thoroughbred and Oreo is an 8 year old Spotted Saddle Horse. Make sure to say hello and welcome Rachel to the Renew family!
