June 2024 Update
Special Summer Programming
The first round of special summer programming wrapped up in the final week of June. What a tremendous time of growth and a whole lot of fun! Campers who have been involved in foster care and/or adoption partnered with a horse and a volunteer for Pony Pals camp. Young readers visited the farm to practice and enjoy reading to a horse friend for Reading Wranglers. Adults over the age of 60 gathered together to ride with Silver Saddles. Participants learned and practiced riding a pattern as a group in Inclusive Drill Team camp. Interactive Vaulting participants learned all about the sport of vaulting. It was a very special month and we can’t wait to do it all again in August.
Session 4 of Therapeutic Riding Lessons
Summer is a busy time for families as we all try to take advantage of the warm summer weather while it lasts, but we don’t want to lose all of the momentum and progress that was made through all of the hard work in Session 3. Renew is offering a shorter session of therapeutic riding lessons during the month of July. If you have some time in your schedule and would like to get plugged in to volunteer, reach out to Elizabeth at volunteer@renewtrc.org.
Phase Two – Horse Barn Update
The Renew family has faithfully partnered in the mission over the past 15 years, and we would like everyone to be a part of this exciting new phase of service. As we near the finish line and seek to raise the remaining funds to build a fully accessible horse barn, we are inviting everyone to sponsor a paver.
Each paver is a $100 and will be placed in the center aisle of the new construction. Sponsor as many you’d like.
The pavers will be available for sponsorship very soon. If you have any questions, please reach out to Cassie at communications@renewtrc.org. Be a part of Renew history and let’s reach the finish line together!
