As we walked in the Parade of Lights this year, we were reminded just how blessed we are. It was picture-perfect with the snow falling, families together celebrating the season, kids smiling and waving as we walked by. And, of course we had the best view … the children’s faces lit up as they saw the horses walking behind us. There were many excited shouts, “Look at the horses!” as they pointed. Our student participants also joined us for the parade! As we walked the parade route, smiling and waving, we heard many people calling out the names of our students lovingly vying for their attention. When it all came together, it reminded us of a warm and fuzzy Hallmark movie. What a great experience for all!
